District Award of Merit Nomiation

The award is available to registered Scouters who render service of an outstanding nature at the district level.

Nominations should be kept confidential and any registered Scouter in the District can nominate another Scouter for this award.  The nomination is sent to the Annual Temporary Committee that will be formed for this and other awards. This committee will make the final recommendations through the District Scout Executive to the Council.

The number of Awards allowed is based on the number of Units Mustang closed out 2009 with; hopefully we will be allowed two, maybe three, this year.  Generally, DAOM recipients have already earned the Stampede Award.  Nominations for this award must be submitted on the completely filled out official form.  See the form for Additional Information and to make a nomination.  Nominations must be received by the Mustang District Advancement Chairman, by the February Roundtable.
